Challenge

NovaWeave is a cellulose-based conductive yarn concept designed for integration into technical garments, where targeted sensing zones can help capture movement, strain and biometric signals without compromising comfort, weight or breathability.

The challenge was to turn a highly technical material innovation into a clear commercial story, helping investors, product partners and procurement teams understand its market value faster, without oversimplifying the science or making unsupported sustainability claims.

Solution

The communication focused the technology around one practical application: high-risk workwear.

Conductive sensing zones were mapped across key areas of the garment, including the chest, back, shoulders and arm bends. Data-reading light treatments, signal pathways and close-up material imagery helped make an invisible technology easier to see, understand and evaluate.

The brand language translated dense scientific terminology into clearer commercial communication, while retaining a technical layer for engineers and scientific audiences.

Results

The result was a market-ready communication system designed to support faster understanding, stronger investor readiness and clearer partner conversations.

NovaWeave was translated into a focused product story with a defined use case, visual proof points and messaging for both technical and commercial audiences.

The work shows how complex innovation can be made easier to understand, easier to evaluate and easier to buy into.
